The Salisbury and District Wednesday Evening
Cricket League is a two division competition played in and around the
Salisbury Area. Matches start between 1800 and 1830 hours on
Wednesday evenings starting on the 5th May 2010 finishing with the final
on the 4th August 2010. In each division of 6 teams each sides plays
each other twice (home and away). Interspersed throughout the summer is
the HK Robinson Knockout Competition and a Plate competition after the
1st round.
Extras.
A
maximum of 6 ball overs will remain for all overs except the final one.
2 runs will be awarded to the batting side for a wide or no ball,
including any extra runs scored, but in the last over extra balls will
be awarded to the batting side and only 1 run per wide/ no ball.
No. of Overs per Bowler. League 1 Max 4 per
bowler. League 2. Max 5 per bowler.
Knockout Competition.
If a League 1 side is playing a League 2 side then a bowler can bowl a
maximum of 5 overs. If 2 League 1 sides are playing then 4 overs per
bowler.
